This Privacy Policy explains how Loqaly collects, uses, and shares information for Customers and Sellers. Personal contact info is only accessible to Loqaly and our authorised companions/cloud providers. Inventory, sales, and analytics data may be used internally or shared with third parties for business purposes.
Overview
Loqaly is a platform that connects local shops and customers. We collect data to operate accounts, enable orders, deliver services, run analytics, and improve the product. This document has three parts: (A) Customers, (B) Sellers, (C) Common terms.
A. Customers — Data & Use
A.1 Data we collect
- Account info: name, phone number, email.
- Delivery info: addresses, location (GPS if enabled), delivery instructions.
- Order data: order history, items ordered, payment references (not payment details themselves if processed by a gateway).
- Usage data: app interactions, device identifiers, crash logs, and app preferences.
A.2 How we use customer data
- To process and fulfil orders and to communicate about your orders.
- To provide customer support and resolve disputes.
- To personalise in-app experience and show relevant offers/ads.
- To run analytics, improve the platform, and detect abuse or fraud.
A.3 Sharing & disclosure (customers)
- Personal contact data (name, phone, address): not shared with external third parties for sale. Access is limited to Loqaly and our authorised companions or cloud service providers for operational purposes.
- Delivery addresses: shared only with the relevant merchant and Loqaly’s authorised cloud/service providers as necessary to fulfil the order.
- Order details: shared with the merchant handling the order because it’s necessary to complete the transaction.
- Aggregated/anonymized data: may be used or shared with third parties for analytics, trend reporting, or ads. Aggregated data does not identify you personally.
B. Sellers — Data & Use
B.1 Data we collect from sellers
- Business info: shop name, address, contact number, business category.
- Owner/operator personal info: name, phone, email.
- Operational data: inventory listings, prices, stock levels, product descriptions, photos.
- Sales & order data: orders received, customer order details (limited), transaction history, refunds, and returns.
- Analytics data: performance metrics, conversion, demand trends, and other platform-generated metrics.
B.2 How we use seller data
- To run seller listings, accept and forward orders, and handle payouts where applicable.
- To provide seller analytics, sales reports, and platform improvement suggestions.
- To verify sellers and prevent fraud or policy violations.
- To power advertising, promotions, and marketplace features (including cross-promotions).
B.3 Sharing & disclosure (sellers)
- Personal owner info: not shared with external third parties for sale; accessible to Loqaly and authorised companions/cloud providers for operational needs.
- Inventory, sales, order & analytics data: may be used by Loqaly and shared with third-party partners, advertisers, or analytics providers in aggregated or identifiable form depending on the purpose.
- Customer order info: minimal customer contact/order info necessary to fulfil orders is shared with the seller.
C. Common Provisions
C.1 Storage & security
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised Loqaly staff and trusted companions (service providers) who need the data to perform their job.
C.2 Ads & marketing
We use user data to personalise in-app promotions and advertising. Aggregated or anonymized segments may be used for external advertising. Personal identifiers are not sold to outside advertisers.
C.3 Cookies & local storage
Loqaly may use cookies or local storage to remember sessions, preferences, and basic analytics. No cross-site tracking or sale of cookie data occurs.
C.4 Data deletion & requests
Customers or sellers can request account/data deletion by emailing contacts.oneam@gmail.com. We will delete or anonymize data subject to operational or legal constraints (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes).
C.5 Legal disclosures
We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to authorities, or protect Loqaly’s rights and users. Only required data will be disclosed.
C.6 Updates to this Policy
Loqaly may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. After updates, in-app notifications may or may not be shown. Continued use of Loqaly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
